🎙 Meet the Voices Behind Adelaide Word of Mouth
Rob
Rob K – Host & Concept King
Rob is your weekly host and the heart behind the AWOM Podcast—guiding you through your feel-good fix of all things Adelaide.
He’s the guy who had the vision long before it became a podcast. Nearly 15 years ago, Rob imagined a local business network that threw out the awkward elevator pitches and stuffy meet-and-greets. Instead, he wanted something real—a place where people could connect authentically, laugh a little, and leave feeling uplifted.
With over 25 years of experience as a sales director across multiple industries, Rob brings a grounded, people-first approach to everything he does. Whether he’s chatting with a local entrepreneur, a street artist, or a passionate community leader, his goal is always the same: help people feel seen, heard, and supported.
He’s the driver of the AWOM concept, and now the voice you’ll hear each week as we explore Adelaide—one story, one conversation at a time.
Josh
Josh P – International Advisor & AWOM Original
Once the life of every AWOM event, Josh Pugh (aka America Josh) was a community connector before he had the title. These days, you’ll find him based in New York helping Aussies navigate life abroad, but back in the early days, Josh was a big part of making AWOM what it is.
He joined like everyone else—curious and community-minded—and helped grow our mission with his unstoppable energy and endless charm (trust us, it’s impossible not to like Josh).
Josh remains an honorary team member, popping up on the pod from time to time and always cheering us on from across the globe. He’s also the founder of Fortnight.digital in NYC and a great friend of the AWOM family.
And the Extended AWOM Crew…
John – Co Host of Dads United Podcast
John brings a bit of heart and humour to the Pod with tales of toddlers and bringing up a young family living in Adelaide.
Family, friends, and the faces of Adelaide
the ones who live it, love it, and shape it
Jax – Rob’s better half and an ever-supportive co-host-in-crime
Need I say more she may have filled in this bit herself.
